Jan Paul Heijmans is a Caribbean raised, Amsterdam based photographer, storyteller, wanna-be musician and writer with a fondness for animals and particularly dogs.

 

A Bachelor in Commercial Economics (he thinks his degree was in Marketing, but then, he can't find it anymore and maybe it was all just in his imagination), he was until recently a Corporate Marketing Convict, or Teams-meeting denizen, however you wish to call it. He now dabbles in creative things full time.

 

Well, most of the time. The rest of the time he simply enjoys the day and procrastinates from any important things he really should be doing. He bikes or goes for walks through the city, tries to stay fit in the gym and likes to play games with his friends (he is the self crowned mini-ping pong champion).

 

He also enjoys sleeping and lying about on his bed, listening to the birds chirp. He is the founder of JPhotosessions, and set up this site to promote his love for Amsterdam.

With a corporate marketing track record of 25 years,  his creativity extends far beyond photography.

He helps, conceptualizes campaigns, designs visual content, collaborates with brands and utilizes his AI skills wherever possible.

But the real magic he brings to the table is his ability to connect with people, animals and nature.
